Postmodern ELAR

This blog will document my efforts to postmodernize my secondary ELAR classes.

About Mr. Talton

Jason Talton teaches secondary English in central Texas.  He is in his fifth year in his current position, eighth year in teaching, and thirteenth in education; prior to that, he worked worked in law enforcement and served in the United States Marine Corps.  He is presently working on his master’s degree in English, with an emphasis in composition pedagogy, at Texas A&M–Central Texas. In an effort to best serve his students, he is re-examining his practices through a postmodern lens by integrating the works of Deleuze, Baudrillard, Haraway, Foucault, Dobrin, Lyotard, Davidson, Gee, Inoue, et al, and this blog is intended to document that process.
